Recently, with the help of Assam government, Tata Group has set up a Rs. 2700 crore semiconductor project in Jagiroad, Assam which plays a pivotal role in North East's economic prospects.
The establishment of semiconductor manufacturing facilities will help North-East-

Catalyse development in infrastructure, logistics, and services.
Foster a knowledge-based economy through innovation.
